Tasks

• Train & coach vocational school teachers and monitoring staff on methodology & applied didactics;
• Provide didactic-pedagogic inputs to curricula, module and textbook development;
• Design and coach practical traineeship programmes for students.

Requirements

• Higher education in social sciences;
• Educated or trained in pedagogy & didactics;
• Practical experience in teaching (specifically adults);
• Understanding of (national & international) educational standards, curricula/ module development
• Good understanding of vocational education systems is an asset;
• Knowledge of ILO modularisation methodology is an asset;
• Fluent in Kyrgyz & Russian (Knowledge of English is an asset.);
• Computer literate (skilled in use of Word, Excel & Outlook);
• Readiness to live and regularly travel in Yssykkul oblast;
• Self-initiative with strong communication and facilitation skills;
• Capacity to work independently and ability for conceptual thinking & planning;
• High level of interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
