Exposure trip to India on innovative technologies of efficient water use

Payaz Jooshev, ZOKI Irrigation Specialist and SEP Coordinator took part in the exposure trip to India organized by IDE (International Development Enterprises). The trip for IDE partners from Nicaragua, Honduras and Switzerland was organized with the aim of exposure into different innovative technologies of efficient water use (like drip irrigation, treadle pumps, micro-sprinklers etc.). Participants could get an inside look into the supply chain set up and get to know the production, pricing, promotion and practical application of those technologies on the field level. Field trips and visits to manufacturers enabled to better understand the process.
